This genus seems confusing. I'm assuming that the choice is between P. muscosa and P. fallax. Unfortunately, BugGuide currently lacks images of P. fallax. From online photos it seems that in addition to the (potentially unreliable?) overall coloring, there might be a difference in the brightness of the hindwings.
Any insight would be greatly appreciated, especially if someone has access to side-by-side specimens of both species with sound IDs.

My favorite moment of the day—I came around a turn in the path and met this egret waiting for a fisherman to catch its dinner for it ;). I walked straight by the egret—had no idea one might let people get close.
