Male and female at hollow. Male entered and stayed in for the 20 mins I was there, female remained on the outside. Located in Smith’s Creek Reserve

Perhaps Eurys genus?
This creature was shining metallic green on top in the sunlight, and underneath there is a yellow pattern with a glint of purple.
The flower it is on is Philotheca buxifolia.
It visited lots of flowers on this plant before departing.
Warm (perhaps 18C but it felt warmer) and sunny, and light winds
