A single tall plant growing among rock in a protected little basin.

This is the same individual seen with @dryfveer on 2 Nov - flowering beautifully which is what initially caught my eye.

Beautiful snake

Approx. 30cm length.

The snake moved to the base of a restio.
Tongue appeared uniformly colored; hissed aplenty.

Upper reaches of Platteklip Gorge on a winters day. Seen late in the day.

Small snake near the river. Terrible photos taken as it moved into a rock crevice.

Approx 25mm body length.

One of a pair of Klipspringers seen in the bush above the overnight huts (old radar station) Cape Point.

For scale:
Middle and ring finger nail width = 13mm

Scat in footpath. Hair evident.
