In cracks in limestone rocks. Leaves up to 3mm long including hair points. Sporophyte 6mm tall. I found this further down the dale. There were quite a few cushions here, so I took a tiny sample.

Dry, nutrient poor hummock far above the water table. 1 hanging branch. Highly oceanic bog.

First picture is convex above and concave below. Second picture is concave. Longer and larger pores in the end of the branch leaf.

I do assume this is Dryopteris remota upon the leaves' shape and darkened stipe base of pinnae.
