Tiny

Small bee, <10mm. On Blue Curls (Hydrophyllaceae) - looking at other observations, these bees really seem to like these flowers.

Winds were around 20 mph, super hot, crazy dry... Not the best conditions to black-light, but I still had a blast!

Pepsis mexicana or melanic Pepsis grossa?

About 1mm body with leg span of about 3mm.

I'm pretty sure this is a new one to me, some sort of very tiny ant-like jumping spider, but I've not seen one with "pencils" like this before. It was moving erratically about on my glass door.

I'm pretty sure this is going to be one of the non-nigrofimbria species of this genus, but the info on MPG doesn't give me ghope of IDing it. I suspect it will be M. piscimala or M. tripuncta.
