These are newly emerged spiders. Web appeared on early morning with many inhabitants on front steps to house (5/15/24) people . Baby spiders curled up and clustered in clumps, then kind of woke up and started walking around on the web. Then went back into clusters. At night all of them had gathered into a single cluster. In cluster the individual baby spiders do not move. Remained in cluster on web for all of the second day (5/16).

Posting bee separately. I was intrigued when the 2nd bee showed up. Did it notice the spider at all? Was it aware of its fallen sister? And - would the crab spider drop the half-eaten bee for a fresh one? Can't answer the first 2 questions, but the answer to the 3rd one was 'no'!
