The closest match I can come with this tricolored Phycitine is this West Texas species of Laetilia. The wing pattern is similar to the more familiar Scale-feeding Snout Moth, but it completely lacks any brown or ruddy tones.

I'm slightly bothered by the fact that this individual seems to have only one discal dot, but maybe that's normal variation within this species.

Photo 2 shows a ruler against the bricks where the moth had been. The markings on the bricks are not perfectly aligned because the photo of the ruler was at a different angle. It looks like the length of the moth was about 12mm.

Looks to me like a leucistic lichen moth. The thin yellow pattern is visible but what would be lead colored is off-white.

The second evening of black-lighting was PERFECT!!! The wind died down, and we had around 12 stations. Great fun!

I'm not sure if these are the same or different species. Note that the first one has parallel yellow stripes on the thorax while the second one lacks these. Both were photographed in the same patch of aster in Fox Park.
