Doesn't fluoresce under UV light, cap seemingly viscid once rehydrated? Microscopy done on dried spores in water with a cover plate; measurements very roughly calibrated.
Piximetre results:
(8.7) 9.6 - 11.3 (11.9) × (4.3) 5.5 - 6.8 (7.2) µm
Q = (1.5) 1.6 - 1.9 (2.4) ; N = 36
Me = 10.4 × 6.1 µm ; Qe = 1.7
What is this thing??

Observation #635
Prolific Hypomyces on young Cantharellus formosus.
Completely white, fluffy/cottony.
Coating hymenium, upper stem/cap edge most densely.
Harvested specimen and carefully dehydrated cap with Hypomyces tissue still attached for genetic record/sequencing.
My corresponding Mushroomobserver observation linked below-
cap 4.5 cm. turned green after picking.
