Earth Day Hikes at REFS: Saturday, April 22, from 2 pm - 4 pm
Join us to celebrate Earth Day at the NKU Research and Education Field Station (NKU REFS) on Saturday, April 22, 2023.
Guided hikes through the St. Anne Wetlands (the fenced, northernmost tract of land along the Ohio River) will be available every half hour (2:00, 2:30, 3:00, and 3:30 pm). The trails are relatively flat, but will likely be muddy, so bring your rain/muck boots and dress for the weather!
Parking is available in front of the Field Station, which is also near the trailhead:

That was an excellent tour! Thank you m_whitson. Most interesting. Especially considering how much historically wooded wetlands of this region are gone. We'll be back. :D
