First observation of a species during California Wild Women

I saw 13 species I hadn't observed before, and one new behavior, an ovipositing Blue-eyed Darner:

Excellent...cool new observations! I’m surprised by only one...argentine ant...I seem to run into them everywhere.

I have a million around my house, and never was inspired to take a picture. But when I saw them on the plastic trash, Hammer Gel, it clicked. (We have so many of these ants because all the Eucalyptus trees here are heavily infested with Red Gum Lerp Psyllid. The ants come for the sugary lerps they find on the leaves the trees shed onto homes, yards, decks, streets...)
