Professor Emeritus at a small university in western Maine where I taught zoology, conservation biology, ecology, and entomology before retiring in 2021. While I started my career working with mammals and seabirds, for the past 30 years I have concentrated on insects. I serve as a co-coordinator for the Maine Damselfly & Dragonfly Survey, the Maine Butterfly Survey, and the Maine Bumble Bee Atlas. I am also a co-author of Butterflies of Maine and the Canadian Maritime Provinces (Cornell University Press - Sept 2023) and working on Damselflies and Dragonflies of Maine and the Canadian Maritime Provinces (Cornell University Press).
