I'm a graduate of the University of Akron with a biology degree focused in botany. Gained experience identifying flora and fauna across Northeast Ohio while working with the Lake Metroparks, The Cleveland Museum of Natural History, and The Ohio Department of Natural Resources. I spent a little over three years working as a Bio Tech at the Sonny Bono Salton Sea National Wildlife Refuge and Cibola National Wildlife Refuge in the Colorado Desert. Lived in Worcester County, Massachusetts while working for APHIS in the Asian Longhorn Beetle Program for almost two years before moving back to California to continue working for APHIS as a Plant Health Safeguarding Specialist. Currently the supervisor of the USDA's Los Angeles Plant Inspection Station.
