Thursday: Trees and Mammals
Thank you to all who continue to participate in our statewide BioBlitz. We have now collectively observed over 300 species!! The winner of the "animal in or under water" challenge is tinaoverman for their observation of a Northern Two-lined Salamander. Other great aquatic critter observations included a water strider by seahound and a sunfish by christina1222.
Today we are highlighting trees and mammals. Mammals and other animals may utilize different tree species as food sources and places of refuge and shelter. Today’s BioBlitz challenge: Submit an observation of a mammal in a tree.
