We've extended the project by one day!

Hey everyone! It's been a fun 10 days and we've loved seeing your autumn Oregon coast observations come in. We have decided to add one day to the project, pushing it to Monday, October 3rd. You'll have all day Sunday to take photos, and even Monday if you like, but now you'll also have until Monday 11:59 pm to load any photos you didn't load in the 10 days earlier. This weekend is glorious, and we want you to enjoy it and not worry about getting back to your computer and risk missing out on some great finds on Sunday.

Keep getting out there in the meantime! Be safe, be kind and have fun!

Thank you so much for participating in the CoastWatch Fall Challenge 2022!

Welcome to our first CoastWatch Challenge!

We are so excited you've decided to join us for our first ever CoastWatch iNaturalist Challenge!

We are excited to announce that two CoastWatch Challenge participants will be starting 2023 off with a Pacific Northwest Tidelog 🤩

Prizes will go to the individuals who collect:
🔎 The most total observations 🔎
🦀 The highest number of different species 🦀

These daily Tidelogs bring together art and science to help you plan you best trips out to the coast. Daily Tidelog Graphics are based on NOAA predictions for Charleston, OR with times and heights for Charleston and Astoria, OR. Time and strength of maximum currents and times of slack water are shown daily. More tide tables are included in the back of the book as well.

Make sure you are following us on social media to keep up with the latest Oregon Shores and CoastWatch news and tag us on your CoastWatch Challenge with #coastwatchchallenge 🎉
