I am a botanist/arborist/environmental consultant living and working in the San Francisco Bay Area where I was born and raised. I have a B.S. in Conservation and Resource Studies, with a Minor in Forestry from UC Berkeley, and have been working as an environmental consultant for over a decade. My botany comfort zone is the Bay Area, especially Marin County where I grew up, but I work as a botanist throughout much of northern and central, and occasionally southern California. I am interested in documenting rare and/or endemic species of the California Floristic Province as much as I can. I am also interested in the flora of Wyoming, where my Mom lives, and the flora of any wilderness I hike through, and any place I travel to.
