Herpetology has been a great interest of mine for nearly thirty years. I grew up exploring the deserts of western North America. I now have over twenty years experience in academic herpetology, plus extensive experience in the field, molecular labs, and museums. I study biogeography and systematics of amphibians and reptiles using morphological, molecular, ecological, and life-history data. I enjoy working with others and mentoring students, especially when I can interest the public and younger academic generations and motivate them to join activities that promote evolutionary education and preserving our natural environment.
