Recording flora and fauna on our 4.9 acre (1.98 hectare) property which comprises 1/3rd remnant bush unburned since 1932, 1/3rd cleared field formally part of a cow paddock before subdivision into rural residential blocks and 1/3rd home and garden. Borders a national park. Inspired by Dr Jennifer Owen, English biologist though myself having absolutely no science background and limited computer and photographic skills and knowledge.

I have also started recording the natural history on a property owned by a family member living in Katanning, the regional centre for the region's broadacre and pastoral farming sectors, undertaking that task with the aid of our grandchild.
