I am a lifelong naturalist having spent most of my life living, and exploring within 20 miles of the Missouri River in east-central Missouri. I did my undergraduate work in agronomy at Missouri State University and graduate work at University of MO St Louis, focusing on Conservation Biology. Now retired from a career in coal mine restoration and environmental protection, I work on restoring native grasslands on my family's property and observing the natural world.
