I am currently working as a behaviorist for the Joplin Humane Society in Joplin, Missouri. I have been working in the animal rescue field for a combined total of 8 years.

I have previously:

  • Worked as a hatchery technician for the US Fish & Wildlife Service at the Neosho National Fish Hatchery.
  • Volunteered with the Association of Zoos & Aquariums as a citizen scientist in the FrogWatch USA program.
  • Volunteered as a docent with the Dickerson Park Zoo in Springfield, Missouri.

I also have a passion for botany. I am fascinated with the biology, ecology, conservation, and cultivation of plants. I grow a wide variety of plant species as a hobby, and I enjoy photographing and cataloging plants in situ.
