I'm a 19 year old birder and nature enthusiast from Albuquerque, New Mexico. Striving to make a positive impact on an imperiled planet I'm interested in ecology and environmental law/policy. I currently attend Occidental College in Los Angeles where I conduct my undergraduate studies. Because of a deep fascination with evolution and geographic variation, I typically find endemic/regionally restricted species most exciting. Besides birds, snakes are my second passion. I occasionally post bird sightings here (usually on eBird) but especially enjoy using iNat to suggest IDs and post non-avian creatures. I'm an eBird regional reviewer for New Mexico, a co-compiler of New Mexico's NAB regional reports, an occasional author for ABA journals and Western Birds, and a former Central New Mexico Audubon Society board member.
