I live on 20 acres (8 Hectares) of bush North of the Western freeway at Gordon. Undisturbed since 1930s and with no wildfires since the 1960s so that means lots of mature trees with hollows and a tendency to drop limbs with little warning!!. Wildlife corridors to the North on private land connect to Wombat state forest and its surrounding parks and reserves. I love birds and insects but have significant populations of mammals, frogs and native orchids, including one rare orchid occurrence, on site.

The Icon photo? That is the Dark Emu in the sky. (It is the one bird I cannot add as an observation however.)
