I love nature, love being outdoors, love learning new things. My daughter and I joined iNaturalist for a local bioblitz and I found that I quite liked the hunt of looking for plants that I didn't know the name of, or sharing plants and their locale of the ones I know well. I am enjoying learning more plant's names and paying attention to how similar ones differ. I am not a scientist but I enjoy observing and being present in my surroundings.

I realize I have spoken as if plants are the only natural thing that exists ;-) I do enjoy the birds, and the bugs, and the bees, as well as the odd frog. But they are much harder to capture with a photograph.
