I received a B.S. in Entomology from Cornell University in 2021. I am primarily interested in Lepidoptera, with a lifelong passion in collecting and rearing caterpillars, such as swallowtails, silkmoths, sphinx, and others. I grew up in Albany, California, a small town in the San Francisco Bay Area, but have also lived in Ithaca, New York for four years.

When I was in high school, I started an amateur blog post about my rearings with my twin brother (http://www.lianginsects.com/), though it hasn't been kept up to date for quite some time now.

A note about my observations on here: Since I do a lot of Lepidoptera breeding, I make sure to only post wild specimen, though some may be of a later life stage than originally collected to allow for identification (ex. larval observation that was wild collected as an egg). If so, this will be stated in the description and the observation of the original wild collection will be linked.
