We are Craig Guyer and Sharon Hermann, two retired faculty from Biological Sciences at Auburn University. Our main goal is to add the biota of our backyard to the Auburn-Opelika Biodiversity project sponsored by the Auburn University Museum of Natural History (AUMNH). Sharon is a fire and plant ecologist who has extensive experience with tall grass prairies of the Midwest, shrub assemblages of Neotropical rainforests, and natural history of longleaf pine forests. Craig was curator of the herpetological collections at AUMNH and taught Vertebrate Biodiversity and Herpetology for several decades.
