Had a good morning walking around with my mom and her husband at the UC Davis Riparian Preserve.

Tons and tons of bird species in a tiny area. See some of the pics here.

Had a nice day at the UCD Riparian Preserve. Here are some of the pics.

Will summarize hear too. Basically went out to this pond in West Sacramento to see if I could see this Garganey that had been reported there. And I was able to see it and some other nice birds. The garganey was not moving around much for a few hours but finally got moving and then flew around with some teal.

Nice day on the UC Davis Campus. Went to the Riparian Preserve in the AM and the Oak Grove in the AM.

Went for a walk along the flooded Putah Creek.

Went to Jepson Prairie and got a tour by one of the docents. Really nice place with all sorts of endemic plant and animal species.
