First record of a species of the genus Exoprosopa in Chile
In Chile, up to this moment, no species has been officially registered for this Genus, according to the World Catalog of Bombyliidae of Evenhuis and Greathead of 2015, nor have I publicly found any scientific work that changes this situation, therefore, the records that I propose are the first that publicly raise the existence of this genre in Chile, through this citizen platform (Inaturalist.org).
This species was registered in the Metropolitan Region, and I have assigned it the name (Exoprosopa chrislambkini), in recognition of the Australian scientific researcher and disseminator Chris Lambkin, by the way, it is merely a reference, because those who assign the name will be the experts who describe it scientifically.
