Approx. 3 hour trek through Prout Road Park near Mount Petrie. Occurred the day after an approx. 5-10mm rain event.
Notable species include:
Unknown high pitched squeak, seemingly from an insect or bat flying around the canopy of tall trees - can be heard throughout the night in pretty much any bushland in the area
Observation relates to the bark/yelp sounds from what is believed to be a glider (sugar or squirrel?). Recording also contains what could be a boobook call in the middle. A small glider was sighted about 5 minutes after this recording, in a large gum.
