Between 8th and 10th October 2014, the Doñana National Park hosted the meeting of the European COST Project called ParrotNet.
A brief tour in the near Sevilla allowed researchers to see also some parakeets. Amazing company for an amazing meeting. Park was comparable to its fame, astonishing landscapes and endangered fauna. A bit worrying the quantity of alien species (Argentine ants, fallow deers, red weevils), but also observations of concerning species.
A pity to have missed a direct encounter with the Greater noctule and with the Iberian Lynx... I really hoped it :D.
