Small yellow flowers, long and skinny legumes along stem, 4 petals, flowers at ends
There is a dark green splash in the middle of the adaxial surface of most leaves. Smooth adaxial surface, tiny hooks along the leaf vein of the abaxial side. Inflorescences darker towards the apex, getting lighter towards the base.
Galbrous leaves and stems. Bright yellow flowers.
There is an opposite branching pattern rotating around the stem. The stem is very red tinted.
Small plant with trifoliate leaves with distinctive white markings on the adaxial surface. Markings hardly visible on dried specimens.
This species was collected in late fall. The stems and branches were covered with prickles. While the coloration (green and yellow-orange) is representative of most of the leafage , there were also compound leaves entirely yellow-orange. As for the flowers, they had mostly all fruited, but I was able to find one still in a bud (Upper half of the frame in the second picture).
