On large decorticated conifer.
Single Cormorant was observed soaring overhead. Subject found a tall rock above the surface of the lake to rest. The cormorant flapped its wings and basked in the sun. Phone ran out of battery before I could capture the infamous "spread wing" sun bask.
Under Acacia. Gills look notched. Cystoderma or Cystodermella possibly? Smells similar to Pleurotus
Growing singly. Unburned forest.
