These photos are of a Cooper's Hawk that I photographed near some sideyard bird feeders. Initially, it was oblivious to my wife and I as I snapped a couple of photos before it noticed us, and then flew across the street into the trees at Fairchild Park. The location is at the North end of the New York Creek Trail.
The trouble with bird feeders is that they also attract predators like this Cooper's Hawk, which flies into the yard at least twice a week, since about 2015.
