Highly likely to be the same Atlantic Harbor Seal that has been seen from time to time around the Saugerties lighthouse since 2019.
My kayaker friend hadn't spotted him for a long while, but his friend Moshe took this photo last week in Lighthouse Cove, about 400 yds from our house.

Rescued from immersion in the swimming pool, this dragonfly was alive but wet and groggy.
He or (I think) she sat on my finger for a photo shoot while getting dry, then flew off. A moving, brief, encounter.
