On the crawl, on the shady side of the butte

Ran under a sage before I caught it. First one I've ever seen. Second one I know of in this general area.

Found while hiking in a heavily forested area. Also very nice didn’t try to bite or anything

Leopard Frog tadpole found close to the surface, above vegetation, of a large palustrine wetland. 1+ m. deep water w/ fish.

Identified by Charles Peterson as a Northern Leopard Frog being eaten by a Terrestrial Garter Snake.

Rangers photographed him at Castle Rocks pond. They named him Clyde.

Found underneath a large igneous rock along with an ant colony. Picture of microhabitat included.

Multiple garter snakes. Looks like they are just coming out of hibernation.

Gorgeous striped whipsnake found protruding from a rockpile on a steep hillside overlooking good lizard hunting grounds.

I would Like to believe that this is a Northern Leopard Frog because of the time that I found it which was the end of August of 2018. However, still not sure if I am right.

Olive-green on upper surface, yellowish underneath. Smooth scales.
