A very 'stoney' looking little crab. Had fine hairs on the claw arms.

I was very surprised to find not one but two Pagurus granosimanus (Grainyhand Hermit) living inside broken Red Rock Crab claws! I placed them in a container for a photo, and they started to fight. One immediately came completely out of the crab claw to defend itself- second photo. (I separated them when they went back into the sea.)
