Single under t-tree and forest.

Fragile fb, easily damaged / broken. Did not appear to be be growing on wood, but could have been wood in the ground.

Stem distinctive, 'warts' that would come off with handling below what appeared to be white fibrous material. Stem a different texture above this white material

Gills yellow tinge, although this could be age replaced. Cap surface brown with felty feel

Descripción

Growing on woodchips under Veronica cultivars. Adjacent to Betula pendula; reaction to ammonia reddish orange, not green; cap dry, not slimy; colours, a dull reddish-brown; spore print pale yellowish, not greenish; spores ovoid.

I think this could be a slime mold, however on the back side of what I think is an acacia, there was white hypha, so it might not be (or course the hypha could be another fungi)

Got frustrated by my camera as it isn't a true macro lens, and my proper one broke.... so this is as close up as I could get.

The out of focus shot, is focused further down on the red filaments that hold up the 'caps'
