Freshly killed by either Accipiter nisus or A. gentilis. I saw the bird of prey take off. I set up a camera and took videos; the bird of prey did not return within the following hour.
Since it had taken the pheasant right outside a school building, seemingly there were too many interruptions, and it abandoned its prey.
